Hi there! I’m George.
I’ve been writing since I was about seven, though back then, my storytelling was more stick figures and scribbles than poetry and prose. Over the years, words became my way of making sense of the world—stitching together emotions, experiences, and observations into something tangible.
Poetry is my main form of expression, but I’ve also ventured into other realms. I published a children’s book, BeeBlee, and a poetry collection, Written Therapy, which gathers some of my most raw and reflective pieces. That said, my relationship with my past work is… complicated. My writing style evolves, my perspective shifts, and sometimes, reading my old poetry feels like unearthing a diary entry from a past life—equal parts nostalgia and what the f**k was I thinking?
Much of my poetry explores loss, hurt, trauma, and the healing (or unraveling) that follows. Nature also finds its way into my work, often mirroring emotions in ways words alone can’t. I weave personal experiences and the stories of those around me into each piece, hoping that somewhere between the lines, you find something that resonates—something that makes you feel seen, understood, or at the very least, felt.
